Walton Lodge Farm is situated
in Walton - Chesterfield,
bordering the Peak District in the heart of Derbyshire. The
farm produces some of the finest produce in the area and
is currently on an organic conservation programme.
Being able
to graze and wander around the natural grass and woodlands
on the 250 acre estate gives the livestock a natural lifestyle.
The quality and care afforded the animals is second to none.
The
breeds are mainly old fashioned rare breeds including Belted
Galloway & Highland Cattle, the
British Saddleback pig and Grey Faced Dartmoor sheep.
All our meat is butchered locally and allowed to mature to
tenderise and intensify the natural flavour.
